Our history

Founded by a nurse, built for families

Liberty Nursing and Support Services International (LNSSI) has been dedicated to exceptional home healthcare for St. Lucian and international clients since 2005. Founded by Mary Henry, a highly trained registered nurse with over 30 years of global medical experience, our company is committed to helping individuals maintain their dignity and independence.

Every individual has unique needs. Our team of trained professionals upholds the highest standards of care and works closely with each client and their loved ones to create customised care plans that meet their specific needs and goals.

Alongside nursing and elder care we offer childcare, housekeeping, stretch therapy and equipment rentals — comprehensive support so your family can live happy, healthy lives at home.

Over the years

Pioneers of caregiver training in St. Lucia

We were the first organisation on the island to offer specialised courses in elderly and child care, empowering St. Lucian nationals with the skills to provide exceptional care.

Our classes — first held at our office and Castries Comprehensive Secondary School — gave home healthcare providers invaluable certification. Their success prompted national recognition, and the Liberty Nursing Training Programme transitioned into what is known today as the NELU Training Programme, still shaping St. Lucia's healthcare workforce.

To play an important role in the advancement of the health services sector by promoting a Christ-centred environment in which we meet the needs of clients by providing excellent service, with integrity and empathy.
